Lo studio, che si limita alle forme prosastiche, dapprima evidenzierà il ruolo di passeur fra cultura italiana e francese di Alba De Céspedes, considerata come « la più grande romanziera d’Italia » da alcuni critici letterari, focalizzandosi poi sulle politiche della casa editrice Einaudi e su quelle di Longanesi, orientate soprattutto sulla ricerca dello scandalo e sulla pubblicazione di best-seller, anche di autrici. Starting with three significant examples - the figure of the Italian writer Alba De Céspedes and the publication choices of the Italian publishing houses Einaudi and Longanesi - the issue of female authorship between the Italian and French contexts during the 1950s will be studied, highlighting some editorial and translation aspects of such transnational dynamics and exchanges.
