Elle suit une problématique politique en lien avec la représentation du corps. Les formes énonciatives caractéristiques du hongrois ont un impact sur la lecture, par l’absence des genres féminin ou masculin et l’omission des pronoms personnels sujets. Par leurs nombreuses nuances, les choix lexicaux de l’auteur permettent différents niveaux d’interprétation, apportant des éléments révélateurs sur le discours de l’époque et une critique politique cryptée. Ils s’organisent selon une syntaxe à l’inverse de l’ordre des mots en français, conditionnant par leur rythme le genre romanesque de Péter Nádas. Cette comparaison entre le texte et sa traduction française cherche à mettre en évidence l’inscription du politique et du corps dans son œuvre. This study sheds light on A Book of Memories (Emlékiratok könyve) written by Péter Nádas, published in 1986, by using the Hungarian language. It follows a political issue related to the representation of the body. The characteristic enunciative forms of Hungarian language have an impact on reading, by the absence of feminine or masculine genders and the omission of subject personal pronouns. By their many nuances, the lexical choices of the author allow different levels of interpretation, bringing revealing elements on the speech of the time and cryptic political criticism. They are organized according to a syntax that is the opposite of the order of the words in French, conditioning by their rhythm the romantic genre of Péter Nádas.
