En s’appuyant sur l’opposition traditionnelle du mythe et de l’Histoire, nous proposons une analyse de la représentation de la guerre dans ces spectacles. Pour faire référence à la guerre, les metteurs en scène s’appuient principalement sur des processus d’analogie, dont l’analyse et la catégorisation contribuent à définir les différents usages que le théâtre contemporain fait du mythe. This paper compares the reception of the Trojan War in several contemporary performances of Agamemnon by Aeschylus. Using the traditional opposition between myth and history, I propose an analysis of the depiction of the war in these productions. En partant de deux représentations particulières: l’Orestie (2012) et Ion (2014), il s’agira d’interroger la manière dont les significations politiques d’origine sont transformées pour faire sens face à un public contemporain, et de mettre en lumière certains des enjeux de ces représentations. This paper offers an overview of how ancient Greek tragedies are being performed in Portugal in the beginning of the 21st century.
