https://lodelpreprod.univ-rennes2.fr/atlantide/index.php?id=989 Publications de Auteurs Alexis Tautou fr 0 https://lodelpreprod.univ-rennes2.fr/atlantide/index.php?id=1110 Notre contribution se propose de comprendre comment, dans la France occupée, les représentants allemands de la politique culturelle (Ambassade d’Allemagne, Instituts allemands de Paris et de province), avec l’aide des collaborationnistes français issus du monde des études, tentèrent de créer en pleine déroute un événement de politique mémorielle à partir des célébrations du centenaire de la mort du poète F. Hölderlin en 1943. Nous nous proposons de passer en revue les manifestations hölderliniennes sur le territoire français, d’identifier les différentes publications et les différents acteurs de ce jubilé, tout en cernant la fonction de la traduction au sein de ce phénomène. The aim of the present paper is to provide an insight into the way German authorities in charge of cultural policy (German Embassy, German Institutes in Paris and on the whole French territory) in occupied France during WW II tried, with the help of French collaborationists from the educational sphere, to set up an event of remembrance policies around the hundredth anniversary of Friedrich Hölderlin’s death in 1943. À partir de réflexions sur la réception de Rilke sous le national-socialisme et d’un état des lieux éditorial, nous examinerons le contexte d’apparition de certaines traductions et nous interrogerons sur le sens à apporter à celles-ci, dans un contexte idéologique foncièrement marqué par le soupçon. Il s’agira in fine de prendre conscience de la nécessité d’une méthode incluant les discours génétiques et le profil des traducteurs ainsi que de saisir le risque de surinterprétation, de fausse interprétation et d’amalgame au-delà duquel doit se placer le chercheur. This paper aims at analysing the visibility of Rainer Maria Rilke and some of his works in French translation within the literary and editorial field during the German occupation of France (1940-1944). On the basis of reflections about Rilke’s reception under National Socialism and an editorial inventory it will be intended to investigate the context in which some translations emerged and question the meaning and symbolic dimension that is to be given to them in an ideological period basically characterized by suspicion.
