En s’appuyant sur des œuvres d’Olafur Eliasson ainsi qu’un projet personnel de recherche-création intitulé ImMERsion, ce travail explore deux dimensions complémentaires : l’hydro-matérialité et l’hydro-immatérialité. L’eau y est tantôt matière tangible et sculpturale, tantôt vecteur atmosphérique d’affects et de souvenirs. Ces installations immersives interrogent notre perception, notre sensibilité et notre manière d’habiter le monde, construisant une véritable écologie esthétique fondée sur l’expérience sensible. Against a backdrop of ecological upheaval, this article examines the role of water in contemporary artistic creation in order to reflect on the relationship between humans and their environment. Drawing on works by Olafur Eliasson and a personal research-creation project entitled ImMERsion, this work explores two complementary dimensions: hydro-materiality and hydro-immateriality. Water is sometimes a tangible, sculptural material, sometimes an atmospheric vehicle for emotions and memories.
